Denver home remodeling

Our goal was to expand the functional use and space without increasing the footprint while invoking the original charm and character of the 1911 craftsman-style Bungalow in Washington Park and utilizing new and modern products & techniques. In essence, to create a space that has the timeless value & appeal of one of the cities beloved Bungalows. The new kitchen blends effortlessly in style and proportion into the existing home.

Objectives

  • Work within the existing footprint of the house, but rearrange the space so that it is more functional
  • Utilize space in back mudroom and open the kitchen to create a more spacious feel and functional design
  • Compliment the original character and charm of the home
Highlights
  • An open feel to the kitchen without completely opening walls and creating too modern of a space
  • Matching trim detail and materials
  • Concrete countertops and marble backsplash in timeless hues and shades from the earth
  • Restoration of existing old growth fir floors through out the home
