On January 15th of 2007 two boys, Tyler Carron & Nikko Landeros,
were changing a flat tire on the side of County Road 17 in Larimer
County when the boys were struck by an SUV. Both boys lost their
legs due to the accident.
The community has come together to give support to these brave
boys and their families and the National Association of the
Remodeling Industry (NARI) wanted to lend their skills to help
these families as well. On Friday, February 9th and Saturday,
February 10th members
from the local chapter of NARI gathered at Carron & Landeros'
homes to help remodel them to better accommodate the boys in
their wheelchairs.
