| It’s
been several decades since the bathroom of this West Wash Park
home had undergone any significant upgrades. Rather than just
replace old fixtures and flooring, the homeowners decided to
have the space completely redesigned to allow access from the
Master Bedroom and improve both aesthetics and efficiency.
Now the bathroom can be reached from the Master
Bedroom through a new pocket door. Cultured marble countertops,
hardwood cabinets, and new tile for the wall and floor give
the space a fresh yet classic look and feel. Glass block around
the shower allows for comfortable ambient lighting. The bathroom
was also upgraded with energy efficient fixtures and electrical
and plumbing elements. Trim matching the original beautifully
seamlessly ties the new space to the older home.
