The
main floor bathroom of this 1917 Congress Park home had
barely been updated since the home was built. Old fixtures,
electrical, and plumbing were in great need of replacement.
Additionally, the space was poorly laid out, which limited
the use of the small bathroom.
Expanding
one wall of the bathroom into an old unused closet proved
to be the best solution as it increased floor space and
efficiency. All new fixtures were installed to accompany
upgraded electrical and plumbing elements. A new look of
granite countertops, new windows, oak cabinets, and new
tile for the wall and floor modernized the bathroom yet
kept the charm of the Homeowner’s wonderful older home.
Trim and detailing match the original, beautifully finishing
the new space and creating a new bathroom that flows easily
with the rest of the classic home. |
